Two Weeks, Part 13

June 01 to 15

Some travel! We spent the weekend of the fourth up near Baker and did the Chain Lakes Loop hike. We went up super early to beat the crowd and were not prepared for how cold it still gets up there. We crossed a snow field at the top, even.

After a good long weekend I flew out to Copenhagen. It’s a beautiful city and the weather has cooperated nicely. I’ve been able to get out every day with a camera…trying hard to mix it up and not just get photos of things. Still more “picture of a building” photos than I’d like but we’re getting there.

Copenhagen is pleasant. That’s the word that keeps coming to mind. The bikes, the sun, the food stalls, the water. It’s pleasant, and I’ve enjoyed my time here. (The Coffee Collective and April are top tier as well. My world coffee tour continues.)
