Fun weather fact! Tacoma, WA is partially covered by the rain shadow cast by the Olympics. It’s also far enough south to be mostly outside of the convergence zone the rain shadow creates. This means drier air, which means less overnight marine stratus, which means it burns off faster when the sun pops out.

All that to say: Tacoma usually has at least some sunshine in the mornings.
